I was going to do the scrambled eggs like that today but I fancied a omelet with bacon...what didn't we have? Bacon. I made one anyway!

I'm off to the gym now to start Workout A!
Hopefully my legs will take the squats and they've been killing all day and I've struggled to walk my quads and hurt so much hahaha. Or maybe Im just being a big girl about it all.

Workout A of Stronglifts 5X5
Squats 50KG
Bench 35KG
Barbell Rows 30KG

Seems nothing compared to a lot of you guys :$ Hahaha
 
Haha I know and thanks! :D I was working in between some guy and he was doing 160KG each set..then my 7.5 ;) haha. I know I've got to start somewhere though and Im not embarrassed about what I lift :D

You're young enough to be outlifting all of us eventually, you **** :D

Disregard people lifting heavier than you in the gym, chances are he wasn't going deep enough anyway.

That reminds me, get some videos of your sets and post them up.

Haha I will be one day don't you worry about that!

And I don't tend to take notice of them and if I do it's only because It gets me thinking if I keep at what I'm doing Ill be that big one day!

I'll get some videos up Monday if all goes to play that will be workout B and then Wednesday I'll get workout A filmed. I'm SURE you will all have a lot to help me on with my lifts because no doubt Ill go wrong somewhere!
 
Yeah, me moaning about peoples form is one of the constants of the universe ;)

Haha fair enough. Hopefully the criticism will get me a much better and effective lift and help prevent injury. :D and won't people give me funny looks if I just start filming in the gym??
 
Okay so I know this is a touchy subject with some guys but I'm going to ask a quick question on supplements.

It was you Ice that recommended that I take 2 Scoops whey and 1 Scoop dextrose after my workout but could I take Creatine before my workout like an hour before? I don't plan on taking any supplements until I've been going a while..or shall I just start now and when I say a while I only really mean a month or two. Also If I do take creatine shall I load it? People say do some say don't it doesn't make a difference and I get confused haha!

Also the meal replacement you said 2 Whey 1-2 Oats because I don't eat breakfast (No time at all in the mornings) Should I look at having something like that for breakfast and lunch seeing as I don't like school lunches (I do take a tuna and mayo pasta but maybe more is needed?? )
 
I thought creatine gave you extra 'energy' so helped you lift more reps or weight and just pushed your more that's why I thought it would be better before? I'm probably wrong about what it does. And shall I take a protien dextrose shake after rugby to help with recovery?

And I will have that meal replacement shake then but try and eat when I can. Will i be able to pre mix the drink then just like have it in the fridge ready to grab and drink in the morning on the way to my bus stop?
 
I wouldn't add water until the last minute, even though it's probably fine in the fridge.

Creatine accumulates in tissues and acts as a phosphate donator, which gives slightly increases endurance in power based movements. The key word is accumulates, so there isn't much instant effect. Taking it with carbs is a good idea. Slightly more interesting are it's effects on glucose storage, nutrient transport and myostatin inhibition, but that's getting a bit unnecessarily complicated.

All you need to know is that it can help the ingredients necessary for growth enter your muscles, and it's one of the only supplements shown to do anything at all for hypertrophy.

Oh I see and so shall I just save the money even though its really cheap and leave it out atm?
 
Played Rugby this morning (On a killer hang over) last night was my day off for sure!
Anyway so because I turned up late, and coach wanted to put a less experienced side out first (The other team were pretty poor) I was sidelined for the first half then I came on second.. Unfortunately didn't score but stopped a few good runs down my wing :D Good game either way and we finished it like 47-7 I think.

Thought I'd add my Rugby games into my log because one of the main reasons I'm training to help improve my Rugby and well... Why not it's all sport I'm doing :D
 
How am I going to increase my lifts by 2.5KG because he lowest weight is 2.5KG at my gym so that would increase by 5??
 
The gym I went to today had some so I just increased it by 2.5KG (only squats though) like the workout said.

Squats 52.5KG
Press 25KG
Deadlifts 40KG

We completed this really quickly tonight I think we were done in like 25 Minutes as it was an empty gym. Next sessions Wednesday and I forgot to get some film tonight so I will get some on Wednesday. Obviously I'll be doing workout A but if I have time Ill film just a few reps from workout B so you can help me before I go gym next :D
 
I did go gym friday only just had chance to update my log.
Just the standard progression of Workout A really I just increased it all by 2.5.KG
 
:( sorry guys. My partner wasn't with me tonight and I could record myself with my blackberry!! :( sorry! I'm finding that I'm really steaming through this session and getting it done even when I'm with my partner in around 30 minutes or less which is really dissapointing because I want to spend more time at the gym!?? What should I do??

Squats 42.5 I got lost at what weights I was at :( and forgot buit now I have it on my phone stupid stupid mistake!
Overhead press 22.5 tbh I think for someone reason I've done more than that but I lost count ffs! I need to be a lot more organised because I know I won't get anywhere if I keep ****ing up like this!
Deadlifts 40
 
I'm just putting it in on my phone! :D and usually I'm with a mate so he can record for me! And any ideas on what I could add to programme as my workouts are so short??
 
I can do pull ups and stuff that is all fine :D and alright man thanks. I just felt like crap walking out the gym after like 30 minutes not even feeling tired... It doesn't feel like a true workout.
 
It sounds stupid but I hope so. I like waling away feeling like I've really worked hard and got something out of it! Gyms closed tomorrow for a re-ferb so ill try squeeze a session saturday if I can if not sunday afternoon might be my only option even though I have a rugby match :/
 
Pretty good session tonight I was at the gym for 2 hours instead of 25 minutes.
Lifts were feeling a bit harder than usual but me and my mate decided to get in the pool after, go in the Jacuzzi, steam room then another little swim just as a bit of relaxation.
I do have some Videos but I need to get my cable and transfer them..I've looked at them and..they're not good I need to improvee!
