189gb in hd films
~48gb in music.

i dont really know about tv shows and such. around 50gb i think

a four-figure cd collection ripped to level 7 ogg vorbis and spread over five pcs (two of which are servers)...

I never listen to them all. I don't know how much space they take up (last time I counted, it was over 1Tb but that was about five years ago and they were all on 40Gb and 80Gb western digital drives...I swapped everything to 200Gb drives about three years ago...plus, I've bought a lot more CDs since then...)

I just like to know they are there...

5224 songs taking up 26.66GB. most of it is ripped at 192kb apart from certain bands who i have ripped at 320kbs.

All of mine are MP3, mainly VBR. Going to rip all my CDs tp FLAC when I get the chance. I've got about 10-20gb more stuff just being "sorted" (tagged etc) but here's how my collection stands at the moment:

The decider here should not be how big but how many. If I ripped everything to FLAC my drive would look very full when there wouldn't be that many files.

Just for the record, I have 8,879 files apparently. Woo.

I think in that case it's around 26,000 but I haven't checked that in ages, it's almost certainly more nowadays.
