Finally Serena she man Williams is beaten...good game from Lisicki.

Tournament is wide open now for the womens title.
 
Lisicki better not get knocked out in the next round now - with women's tennis it'll probably happen though lol. Hope she goes on to win it, because the rest of the draw is pretty lol.

Blimey, what a match. I could see Lisicki losing that after Serena won the second set, and 3-1 up in the third. No previous champion left in the women's draw now. Will be a refreshing change not to see a Serena Williams cruise control final again. What an astonishing Wimbledon this has been.

Edit: Didn't realise Kvitova was still in. I thought she had got knocked out as well. :o

Kvitova when on form can hit anyone off the court as can Li Na. In fact there are quite a few big hitters out there in the womens game (including Laura Robson) but it is Serena's more reliable serve that is giving her the strong upper hand right now, though she still wonders away mentally in games sometimes.

Dominica Cibulkova hit Serena off the court for a set and 4-1 up a couple of months back before Serena turned it around

Simona Halep, Sorana cirstea Sabine Lisicki, are all out and out hitters who play an all out attacking game that is, while not consistent, capable of taking the game away from opponenets.
