I get what his saying, anyone could say they shop at Ocuk a lot. but where the post count can sometimes give a good idea if that person comes to ocuk a lot..

but either way this competition wasn't based on post counts or how much you shoped at ocuk, it was just picked at random....
 
The comp is here to build the profile of ocuk, limiting it to long standing forum members would be a mistake.
 
I understand some people may be slightly bitter, you can see my join date is 2008. My low post count is because I signed up for forum long ago for help/support. Even used to use OCUK for business.

Anyway, here is a photo of what I have so far. Anyone know if I could fit the Ares II in a Define R4 with a Corsair H100i?

yes. but I don't think he means long standing forum members. I think he just means someone with 500-1000+ posts, maybe

but anyway like I said this competition wasn't based on post counts or how much you shoped at ocuk, it was just picked at random.... so no point saying about this... random picking is far...

Exactly.... All credit and congrats to the winner but again ocuk this is another marketing fail.

For such a high value and more importantly 'rare' item I saw next to zero social media ripple. ' Big fat zero ' - you've really got to do more.

Heck it were me I would have live streamed the draw and ensured that it made waves.

Graphics cards up to 295mm in length with the top HDD cage installed
ARES II is 299mm, remove the HDD cages and your good to go!

Another Marketing fail? Sorry? didn't realise you had the entry inbox email. I'm pretty happy with multiple thousand entries of which many came not from the forums.

I saw this promoted on other sites too with a link to OCUK, so it widened the net.

Live draw on social media? The only people who would have watched that are the hardcore fans. So... Point well made, I think not.

What about the cooler thou? I am thinking top mounting the H100i with the Ares II cooler on the back may be problematic.

This is actually the biggest competition entry-wise we have EVER done. So it is pretty impressive if you ask me. :)

Probably because it was a simple competition to enter and anyone could enter.
 
Congratulations Kaotik2k8 very nice GPU. Not sure on all the Hatred it was a comp open to everyone. Some jealous people I think.

Looking forward to some fitted pics.
