Win8 Tablets

I'm quite a big fan of Lenovo stuff, even their cheapo ThinkPad Edge laptops are pretty good. I expect the ThinkPad Tablet 2 to be a nice machine and probably would have gone for one myself if it wasnt for the Surface.
 
I have to say, the Windows 8 launch has been an utter shambles. We're what, 3 weeks down the road now and not a single shop has any tablet devices with Win8 to sell or play with.
I popped in to town today (Reading) and none of the shops had any Win8 tablets at all. The only devices with a touch screen were a few laptops. No tablets at all and yet there was Point of Sale advertisements everywhere talking about tablets.

It's no wonder MS decided to release their own hardware if their own OEMs are so terrible at shipping product. I mean, it's the run up to xmas at the moment. Just the time when things like this get bought. Instead, everyone will be heading to the Apple store.
