Danny, i got the same hashes with that program as i did with my program, but i just noticed for some reason, the iso had a blocked box enabled because it was downloaded, so i am retesting with it unblocked now.
Which login screen? The one where you have to swipe up or the background image?
urm just start typing them and it learns them
Ok same result as before, something must have changed the hashes when it was blocked, any ideal what causes this ? do i have to disable something while downloading you think ?
The background where you actually enter the password
:| Im not typing it out haha. Its 500+ lines
Try the mega link?
Will do, these iso's arn't the N version's are they, and the block thing is a security thing you sometimes see when you right click a file and chouse properties, you then have a option to unblock, usually only on exe type files.

You can change the login wallpaper by group policy. As long as you are on pro/enterprise editions.
No they are the full versions.
I haven't heard of that block thing, must be part of your anti-virus or something. The only time something gets blocked for me is when chrome thinks its dangerous and you have to do that recover it and click the box that says "make it hurt" haha

Yeah the screen where you type the password.
OMG I think you are right. I was only looking at the path: Computer configuration, administration templates, control panel, personalisation.
But if I look in the path: Computer configuration, administration templates, system, login - bottom option states "always use custom logon background*
Will test and revert back

The new RST drivers that come with Windows 10 cause the heads to park and unpark constantly on these drives, leading to increased wear and an annoying sound every few seconds.
I posted this response below in another thread but thought I'd include it here as well.
I've solved the issue!
It's to do with the new Intel RST drivers that we're forced to use on Windows 10 and would've occurred had you updated to the latest RST on 7/8/8.1 too.
Download HDD Guardian to find the /dev/csmiX,Y location of the relevant drive(s).
Next, download a tool called Smartmontools and install it.
Now, open windows task scheduler and click "Create Task"
- Click run with highest priveleges
- Click the "Triggers" tab
- Click "New"
- In the dropdown menu at the top, set it to "At logon of any user"
- Click the "Actions" tab
- Click "New"
- Action should be set to "Start a program"
- Click "Browse"
- Browse to the location you installed smartmontools (probably "C:\Program Files\smartmontools\bin\smartctl.exe")
- In the "Add arguments" section, add the following -s apm,off /dev/csmiX,Y (where X,Y are the values found in HDD guardian)
- Repeat this process (adding another action) once more if you have a second drive
This will run on startup and disable APM which is causing the clicking noises you're experiencing with this drive.

You'll soon know if it's a problem though, as your drives will be constantly clicking and slow to access.
i presume i can delete the window.old folder ?
Couldnt get the x64 microsoft link to work, used this instead.
