Hmm. Maybe Microsoft should have just called I OSX. (Win 10 /OS X)
More and more they seem to be shutting it down. A bit like OSX.
The 'Get Windows 10' app was called GWX.exe.

Checked regedit, the build updated to 10240.16430.amd64fre.th1.150807-2049.

I find it funny Sony told Vaio owners to wait until October to install Windows 10, I am sure many owners already installed Windows 10 so they didn't wanted to waited until October.

I upgraded mine with Windows Update, no issues at all. Only thing that doesn't work is the "Assist" button that would usually open the Vaio Support sidebar thing and that's only because I uninstalled all the Sony software before doing the upgrade.
All the drivers for the touchpad, graphics, sound etc, we're all found on Windows Update and installed without issue.
Finally put Windows 10 on my little HP Stream 7

Can't seem to access my SD Card though! it say's theirs an error with the driver in the Device Manager!!
I might whip it out, re-format it, and stick it back in to see!!
it's a 64Gb Sandisk, which worked no problems under Win8.1

just updated my dell venue 11 pro. no problems at all, which is a relief, really, because when i tried one of the betas i had no network connections at all. Which is kind of important on a tablet

I upgraded my Stream 7 and had no issues with it picking up the SD card straight away.
I'm going to try a clean install of Win10. The upgrade has soooo many issues for me. Apps white screening, games freezing, mouse issues, rendering issues... you name it.
If a clean install doesn't fix it I will not be happy. Free or not, the ***** thing should at least work. Never had these kinds of issues with 7.

Lol cut your nose of to spite your face. What is the problem ?
I have had no issues and now on around 12 or 13 pc's that I have upgraded. However I found a clean install made my main rig a tad quicker

I was playing WatchDogs last night and my PC completely locked up, had to hard restart and when it came back up Updates were installing

Yes, mine did that yesterday. Completely white screen, unresponsive. Hard reset, then updates installed on restart.
I'm having issues with sound stuttering when playing any local video or music, streaming is fine...
This is from a fresh install of windows 8.1 pro upgraded to windows 10 using windows drivers.
Before I had no problems when I upgraded from Windows 8.1 pro and had updated drivers from the manufactures site or from HP.
maybe I'll try later with a fresh install of windows 10....
