Windows 11 release v22H2 available now. Time to upgrade yet?

My Win10 install has been running for ages but decided to let the Win11 prompt do the upgrade. Only thing I did first was remove Bitdefender so I could do fresh install of that after.

No problems with the install. Just let it run while I went shopping. One of the first update prompts was for Asus and didn't realise it was the BIOS but it rebooted and installed automatically. I just had to reapply the XMP profile and job done.

I have used Win11 briefly before and the first thing I learnt then was don't bother using the mouse to find where things have moved just press START and start typing the name.

Why wait if you do a fresh install you can download the legit ISO form Microsoft directly.
That's an option too, I was warning people not to force an upgrade to 22H2 - it's not 100 percent ready yet on every single PC config.

You might be able to fix any problems, by just rolling back to windows 10 and trying again, as I did, but its a lot of faff.

I would recommend just upgrading to Windows 11 (pre-22H22 version), if the 22H2 isn't offered. Or just wait for H2 to be offered via win Update.

On my laptop it says Coming Soon: Windows 11, 22H2

I've tried an inplace install, tbh.. I rolled back about an hour ago, very gritty when scrolling/browsing.
All smooth again now on 21H2. Yes I did try new drivers etc!
Apart from that, it works I guess.....
Well it got released to me and I'm pretty impressed with the official release to this device at least.
System SKU 2S897EA#ABU
I had aweful trouble with this device until I ripped out the RTL 8822CE, for some reason it was causing the write speeds to be limited to 200MBps.
AX 200 installed.. overheating stopped hdd speeds now stay around 2200 read 1000 write.
Maybe a bad wifi card!

Is anyone having issues with notification sound since upgrading to 22H2? Every now and again the notification has a crackle almost, some sort of feedback. It's the same with the start up sound.

The notification window is really annoying int 22H2, instead of staying a small size with just one notification or expanding in height if the small windows starts getting full, it decides to always go to the full height of the screen instead with only single notification.

Been offered the above update, but as yet not accepted. Is it too soon to update bug wise i run nothing special on my pc.
thanks

My rig stopped during update install.. Now wont boot. Stuck in the preparing repair loop. Any ideas guys. other than hitting it with a hammer.
