I meant in the same sense as you, I get one of those signiature editions however I have absolutely no need for it, can get it a couple of ways. Work/student.. will probably throw it on ebay with NR and see how it does.

im with ya, i reckon it might fetch £200 as some people will want this and the fact its due before general release
 
So is there anything to stop you applying for one of these, foregoing the launch party, selling the copy of Win7 on the net and using the proceeds to hold a more socially acceptable party that actually has girls in attendance?

MS sure are pushing the boat out with 7.

i was hoping they would send us like 500 quids worth of booze or something too.... free napkins are good too though :P

anyone receieved their party pack yet? as ShakenNstirred said we should have them by mon/tues.
 
well i was told on the ms email it would be around 10th October, so nout yet, sooner the better for me if i'm gonna flog it as i guess i will get a better price before its released :D
 
i'm a confirmed party host and should receive my copy soon. i was wondering, if i installed win7 ultimate using the final rtm build now without a key on install, could i then put the serial in after when i receive my copy?

should work in theory i guess, but i would just hang on, wont be long now and it might say something call on your desktop like signature edition :D
 
lol same, even though i wont actually be having a party i still do tell people about the cool new features of windows 7, so i am doing my bit in a way.

yeah if there were with us friday night and they were addressed to people and not a holding company till the 10th
so they should be there atleast sometime this week
