Windows 8 - the Features, Applications and News Thread

Gave this a try it's just a tweaked Windows 7 with an unavoidable front end bolted on to it, the only link I found really useful was 'Desktop'. :p

The old start bar was a lot faster and more user friendly than this new start screen.

True, but if one uses the quick launch bar most common applications can be just clicked, which is even faster than the start menu. Less commonly used applications can be just as quick either way.
 
Apologies if this has already been asked, but I read that Windows 8 will be released on their various developer networks and things on the 15th, but does anyone know if this includes Dreamspark Premium?
