WD Caviar Blue 500gb, though I had to reinstall Windows about 3/4 weeks back so its relatively fresh

used to be 12 secs when it was a fresh install . 60gb Vertex with only 6.87GB free.

Where does it time too? Log in screen or desktop? cause I have a password on so wondered if it includes my typing time.

Anyway 29.9 secs for me

Edit: Yes it does time to desktop, just tested it and got time of 2 minutes as I wasn't here to log on. So straight to desktop I would guess mine is about 25 secs.

Hmm just tested on my wd 640gb black. Win 7 is on 2nd half of the drive tho with 1/3 used of that partition.

First took 77 seconds :S.

Ran it a second time with it set to using 4 cores and i was a bit quicker and clicking yes to msi afterburner prompt and it was 44 secs. Seems ok now

Couldn't replicate the sub 14 seconds boot time, but managed a 14.5
