Odd, one of my drives did that recently (caused was a failed SMART value - that appeared to do nothing, on a Samsung F1 - which you don't look to have, big thread about it a couple of months ago), it popped up the warning three times every now and again, on the third time it offered to stop warning me about the drive. Hadn't heard a peep since up to when I sold it on.

I was getting the same msg in windows 7, I simply clicked the option to remove the pop up msg because it got really annoying. I was expecting the hdd to die soon after but it's actually still working fine without any problems.
I have everything backed up just incase and I am after a new hdd anyway (an SSD) so I am just holding off until I am forced to change it. Seems absolutely fine though tbh, just switch the pop up msg off, back everything up and continue as normal.
