Hi everyone,

Bought my computer from OCuK in January and it's been fine until yesterday when it randomly crashed. After restarting I started getting a "Windows detected a hard disk problem" message.

Does anyone know anything about this? Because it seems to be working ok still?

Cheers

Avoid saving anything further to it, and backup important stuff immediately to USB stick / other.

Win7 gave me a warning on a 1TB drive a few weeks back, pretty cool it monitors the SMART information - got everything off safely and RMA'd.

Surely he already has a backup, so you mean, make sure you keep your backup as up to date as possible ;)

I'd hope so, but some individuals appear to like dancing on the edge of the Grand Canyon!
