So... Just turned on my PC and Windows Update has offered me SP3....
Do I, Dont I, And Why?
I thought Microsoft pulled SP3 at the last moment last week for some reason. So why is it back up now.
Windows is offering this to me this morning as well but I'm not sure whether to get it. I did try the final RC and it seemed to cause some issues, so I reverted to SP2. Are there any compelling reasons why I should get it? Presumably all essential security patches will still be given to SP2 users?
I asked it to download and then it just disappeared lol. The automatic download icon just went from the system tray and the process was no longer in task manager. Suppose I'll try again next time I start my pc up

Can anyone comment on the 'speed boosts'? Microsoft's SP3 white paper itself doesn't mention them. As for the new features, they don't mean a whole lot to me - should I be excited about them? Are they of any benefit to the average user?
