Sketchy in TN22 4 this morning, about 5 inches I'd say

TN25 here, coming down pretty consistently, again.

Perhaps we should use this for weather forecasting. Probably more accurate
:)

Aye, maybe we should go back to the good old days examining the chicken entrails and reading the tea leaves...;):)

I can't say as it bothers me really, it just seems like it's become the way of the world to generate hysteria over the slightest thing now.

The weather forecasts are funny though, we appear to have spent millions on weather satellites and supercomputers to predict every minute change down to the size of a butterflies fart. Then broadcast it umpteen times a day with graphics that would shame "Avatar." But generally it's no more accurate than it was when they just put the stickers on the map 40 years ago.

We have a scattering of snow here this morning, 2-3cm. The roads are completely clear. Wind has a bite to it though, brrrrr.

wow tinniest bit of snow and now the sunshine is out so it will melt fast.

farce that companies cancel trains and planes for this crap

I posted an hour or so ago saying we've had no snow here. But me being the doofus that I am, I hadn't opened my curtains to look and see. We have about 2 inches of the stuff. Must have come down sometime after 1am as that was when I closed my curtains and went to bed. Doh !

Been clear and dry in west London until now - the sky has slowly gotten more and more leaden and it's now snowing the tiniest little bit - just the beginning hopefully!

Glad I worked from home today now :D

Comming down hard in Stafford now. Looked outside and it's a whiteout.

Edit: now stopping and going sunny........
