Argh the car has gone orange - that'll need a bucket of water its quite abrasive using the wipers risks scratching the glass

It’s more that no one manages them. Along my commute there are loads of dead trees that unsurprisingly have snapped in half and have blocked the road.

Councils have basically stopped all maintenence on them for reasons of cost they often farm them out to contractors who decide to simply cut them all down... to save on maintenence costs. There are some places in uproar about it.

Gorgeous day here - sun out, everyone out doing DIY, etc. mow lawns and other gardening and so on heh.

Potential for a brief wintery snap at the end of the month but each update waters it down so meh.

Sadly doesn't look like we'll get much where I am other than maybe some ice but some patches of snow here and there over the country, heavy in some places, over the next couple of days.

Had a few flakes coming down this morning while walking the kids to school, but has now stopped and the sun is out. So that's Summer and Winter done for the year, bring on the next 9 months of Autumn rain!

What a swing in temps we have had here over the past week. Saturday was glorious and we hit 18 degrees C. Bit cooler on Sunday, down to 14 degrees but still pleasant. Monday 6 degrees, Tuesday 4 degrees, Wednesday struggling to hit 3 degrees plus a bitter northerly breeze and snow showers. Today 1.6 degrees and we had quite a bit of snow overnight and keep having heavy snow showers although it's melting in between showers.

A bit of white stuff fell a few minutes ago and thankfully didn't stick.

I've been out on the road bike for the last ~2.5 weeks, at this rate I might need the agro of switching the hybrid back to ice spike tyres for commutes.
