By god you're old as ****
Your house must be so damp to have condensation at 20c.Yep, lots of condensation on the windows this morning. No idea how cold it was overnight outside but the house hasn't dropped below 20.2C (it seems to be getting just that bit colder every night)
Think I'll have to crack the CH on soon just to make sure it all works if temps do plummet.
Windows are terrible, 24 year old double glazing, and we had a major leak in the kitchen a few months ago. It's only when the temp drops to low single digits outside that we see condensation though.Your house must be so damp to have condensation at 20c.
Either that or your windows are terrible.
None here and its 16c indoors.
Newer houses are worse for it because they have less air flow.I have a dehumidifier since last winter and still get condensation on the windows when it goes cold outside. Don't get where it's coming from.
My old (rental) house, 90s build, never any condensation or damp at all and never needed dehumidifier.
Yeah houses these days are too 'efficient'I have a dehumidifier since last winter and still get condensation on the windows when it goes cold outside. Don't get where it's coming from.

Never had condensation in the house I grew up in, with draughts and single pane windows, just frostbite.
Possibly a damp issue somewhere? Our kitchen leak went unnoticed for quite a while I think, and we had mould where we'd never seen any before in 20 years living here. I'm still not convinced the house has recovered. No my house now is far older, a 30s build.
