I did similar last year... Dropped the CH temp from, IIRC, 67oC (which is the "e" setting on the Logic Combi ESP1 35) to 60oC and also the hot water temp to 50oC.

I might try tweaking it a bit to 55/45 CH/HW
Is that a HW tank? I think you need it at 60c to kill any bacteria build up.

This storm has really passed me by, a bit breezy, a little rain, very mild though and the Banana plants are still going strong
I definitely prefer hot water and safe hygiene to luke warm water that i cant wash up in, all i have to do is run the tap faster to get a cooler temp

Storm Babet causing chaos in Scotland, people in the town of Brechin have been told to evacuate!

I can confirm it's a bit damp here but it'll mainly be the housing on bridge Street that will be getting shipped out.

Flood defenses appear to be a load of crap.

Yeah, I’m just looking at the SEPA site, the upstream gauges are showing the water level doubling this morning but it’s still well within the normal level. I would imagine they’ll know how much more rain they’re getting and can extrapolate the level downstream at Brechin. Ground everywhere is already saturated after last week so it’ll just all run straight off.

Just a bit breezy and wet here. Nothing particularly out of the ordinary.

Ah fair one! Lucky you. I’ve got a HW tank, it’s measuring at 61c coming out the tap! Such a waste of energy.
I turn our tank on twice a week. It's a huge waste as we don't use it.

But I keep hearing you should keep a rank setup for the future. (ie solar heating etc?)

Very mild here and feels humid

Wow the rain here is something else, and this is Somerset not somewhere in the path of Storm Babet. The road has turned into a river in minutes.

Electricity is just about holding on here now, had a few on-off-ons, certainly out of town areas have had power off most of the day I'm hearing.
