Is your house new and/or mega insulated?

Yeah it's a modern house. The appliances are all energy efficient A+ etc as well as having LED lights and Nest Thermostats which help keep heating off if the house is empty when otherwise it would come on as per program for example.

Is chilly, but still ok in tshirt, probably down 1-2C I be long sleeved though.

Room temp yesterday 15C, today 16C. No heating.

Finally got my British Gas direct debit reduced. They were utter buggers before.. always some excuse.. "It's too close to the direct debit date, we can't change it..."
I'm £2k in credit!
*turns heating up*

2017 build. Was 14 when I woke up, went to 17 with the small amount of sun and maintaining 17 (at least in the living room) passageway and upstairs are around 15.

Tempted to put heating on but generally fine with socks, dressing gown and joggers on. It's borderline though, can defo feel it on my nose/ears.

Dropped my flow temp from 75 to 50. House toasty this morning but a fraction of the cost. No idea what I'm doing but seems to have had a mega effect!

I did similar last year... Dropped the CH temp from, IIRC, 67oC (which is the "e" setting on the Logic Combi ESP1 35) to 60oC and also the hot water temp to 50oC.

I might try tweaking it a bit to 55/45 CH/HW

Yeah, I have my HW set to about 43, which is just right for a hot shower. No point heating it up further to mix cold in.
Heating currently set to 56c. It'd a medium old house, but with a glass wrap-around extension on the back, so loses a lot of heat there.

I don't have a dishwasher so obviously my hw needs to be over 65c ideally for dishes ,it only takes a little more preheating tbh and my heating oil last ages

Wednesday 1 Nov - Wednesday 15 Nov

The majority of the period seems likely to be dominated by Atlantic depressions, bringing wet and windy conditions to the southwest and west. Although, spells of high pressure may bring some longer drier interludes than earlier in the period. Rainfall may be higher than average in the south and southwest at first but as the period progresses more seasonal weather patterns of wet in west, drier in east will dominate. Temperatures are more likely to be above average, but perhaps trending closer to normal. Cooler later into November when blocking high pressure and easterlies are more likely. That said, as temperatures fall, particularly over the near continent, any winds from this direction may bring colder spells as the month progresses - perhaps more likely in northern and eastern areas.

Haven't had a blocking high with ever decreasing temps from the east in November for a long time!
