I have friends from Bournemouth to Brighton, they've all said the same. So if it's effected you, sorry but your in a minority, hence the over sold.

1200 properties in east and 500 in west sussex without power including an area of brighton (Whitehawk) this afternoon

I'm sorry to see your home got blown into the road, hopefully it isn't damaged too much. I expect the council will sort out some emergency housing for you.
I hope so, I only recently bought that home too, 30 year mortgage at £1,500 a month. Mind you its an upgrade from the sheet of tarpaulin that I used to live under so thats a plus.

Just turned into one of those dark wet dreary autumn days here, utterly miserable. Bring back Summer. :(
 
Very wet, this isn't ideal but I've got some lightweight wellies from amazon (with comfy liners) some breathable over trousers (£15 but seen cheaper) and a decent lightweight waterproof coat and tbh it doesn't change my walks and stay dry as a bone, got a foam pad in my rucksack to keep my butt dry when tea drinking from the Stanly
