I hope so, I only recently bought that home too, 30 year mortgage at £1,500 a month. Mind you its an upgrade from the sheet of tarpaulin that I used to live under so thats a plus.

Very wet, this isn't ideal but I've got some lightweight wellies from amazon (with comfy liners) some breathable over trousers (£15 but seen cheaper) and a decent lightweight waterproof coat and tbh it doesn't change my walks and stay dry as a bone, got a foam pad in my rucksack to keep my butt dry when tea drinking from the Stanly
Probably lucky really given the potential damage. The flooding around where I am was bad enough as it was.
Must be a different storm. Ours was due to peel north
