Winter 2023/24 - It's FREEZING!

For me things are so pleasant now, but for some its too cold.

I love the heat and found it chilly this morning. It was 6 degrees in Preston at 0730. Just upgraded the lighter hoody to a thicker one today.
The wife stuck heating on for an hour this morning as anything below 18 celcius is cold to her.

my heating came on today...same temp/schedule all year round, it was partly due to the fact I had all the windows open trying to get rid of the smell of fish that was cooked last night, but still...it's now cold

Definitely feeling nippier in the house.
Looked at when the central heating last year. It was October.

Mine would be on now if it was set at normal schedule. I've banned it until October

For me it’s nice and cool. Temperature needs to drop a little more before I say it’s cold.
As for heating, had a look when I started turning heating on, that was October. Probably do the same if weather continues to stay like this.

Wall to wall blue skies today and a minimum of 25c on saturday we seem to be stuck in perpetual summer can't remember the last time it rained was at least 3 weeks ago

Stays around 21 in my house even with the back door open no heating at the moment. Still in shorts lol
