Sounds promising. Looking forward to nice sunny crisp winter days .Despite some of the more clear cut pattern changes, etc. there is still a lot of wildcards - some of the distribution of heat and/or where oceans are cooling or warming, etc. aren't really well understood in the context of this El Nino change and with poor or non-existent historic analogues to go by.
Overall there are very strong signals for a cooler and drier winter than average, but I'm not disheartened by the indications of lower than average snowfall potential as the setup should work towards rather than against, as has been the case in recent years, snow when it is in the offering and it looks like areas of high pressure should more often be in the right place for us with this setup.
I much prefer a colder but drier Winter than warmer and wet

You saucy devil!Yeah. Some things are good warm and wet... The weather is not one!
I don't want it.

Bit nippy isn't it?That breeze is a bit chilly, might need to put more clothes on than shorts and a t-shirt!
Anyone seen autumn?Warm summers and cold crisp winters are as it should be.
and rats and termites. Quite a few things transition across from europe if we dont get snowfall on the ground for at least a few days every yearand kill quite a few bugs.
Secret here is massively thick walls to the house, retains heat during hard winters and house is cool during summers. Opposite to this would be anything thinly built, metal etc. with windows its a glasshouseStop crying ya’ll.
