Light patches of settled snow near Bitterne precinct on cars and wheelie bins. Roads and pavements look damp, definitely potential for an ice rink in the morning!:eek:

Might tempt me into fitting my ice spike tyres onto my hybrid bike and have a little ride around tomorrow, while sounding like bacon is cooking, from the amazing grip of the spikes.
 
I've got to say the new mattress topper is very insulating against the cold 7.5 tog is toasty warm normally it'd be a case of throw a blanket and a couple of coats on top and try and stop shivering a good deal of heat disappears into the mattress methinks
 
Yay, no frost and my combi's outdoor temp said 3c, but when I went outside the biting NE wind was bitter. Checked Met Office and they reckon "feels like" -3c with the wind chill. Base layer required today!
