Winter 2023/24 - It's FREEZING!

Starting to snow good in Southanpton now, not laying yet but sky is looking quite heavy. Forecast heavy from 6pm for an hour or so, so fingers crossed.
 
Can feel that temperature dropping off again -3 tonight, just been to landfill near Timtagel so had to call.......

Every time I look at the smart meter it's jumped £1. 8th and nearly half the monthly average already spent.
Have to start having the wood burner on more through the day.
 
I am just doing an hour morning blast of the oil boiler and same pm, then under the heated throw, I also put black material in my living room to catch the sun's heat (example big black changing robe I drape over radiator that gets full sun then dark cover on sofa ect ect)

This is the time of year I wish human had the ability to hibernate. To be able to go to bed now and wake up in a few months would be perfect
 
BBC Weather say's no snow for me, however I've just had an alert of my phone from Google to expect heavy snow tonight

Met office warns of PLUNGING temperatures and ARCTIC conditions next week.

Later.. On met office... You may have seen articles in the press saying the above.. We did not sy this.
 
my trainers make me hate the frost/ice...

Never buying nike trainers again, or atleast ones the the crappy grip profile these have which is basically the whole front half of the foot is barely raised flat black squares.....

literally the worst trainers I've owned

No they just useless at providing grip as you push off with your foot.,..

my foot will constantly slip backwords as I try to walk. going to prioritise finding the time to pick up something with a decent grip profile in the next day or so
