I love this weather. Feel like it's been some years since we've had 0c for more than a night on south Wales coast.

Give me this over the the gloomy 10c days.

Less heating once the sun hits the windows too!

******* love snow. Its magical. I live too far south to ever see it properly but when we go skiing I just love it. We've had about 2.5 months of almost non stop grey and/or rain here and its depressing. Only the past 4-5 days have we seen the sun for more than 10 minutes because its been so cold. Its been lovely.

Woke up to some snow this morning

Blanket of snow here this morning. Very slippy on the bike :( slid off sideways once, nearly did it again simply turning a corner but managed to save it.
Hope it's melted by the time i ride home
Could be my carp memory, but I don't recall snow laying when I lived on the west side of Wirral as a teen 85-92.

Clear blue skies and -2C in Southampton today.

Yeah, we don't get snow around here very often.
I remember wading through deep drifts as a young child though, maybe early 80's.
I think the last time it was bad was 2010. I'd just started work here and everyone had to abandon their cars.

Remember walking to school in the 70/80s and there would be massive drifts, get to school and the teachers would tell you the boiler was broken so we get to go home, best days ever :D

Heh remember those days too listening to the radio to see whether buses would be running/schools would be closed (they very rarely did in those days) seeing the cars struggling to get up the hill/generally sliding about. All a memory now like the snow its a thing of the past.

Looks like the south coast may or may not see some snow into early Wednesday but the rest of us will miss out, frustratingly a setup which could have gone either way but ended up with the front far too much to the south and the cold not quite building in right.

If anything happens it'll fall as rain its already clouded over and hit 7c the highest its been for a week here on the coast. Maybe inland will be luckier

I put mine on a clothes horse thingy in front of the room window and also have the dehumidifier on , did this yesterday then draped them over the radiators to finish off ,dry as a bone

Blimey, look the at the amount of snow northern france are getting for a sustained period, over a full day of continual heavy snow.

THAT WAS MEANT TO BE OURS IN THE SOUTH, DAMN FRENCH!!!

Do a quick ride/drive to Shirley, they have a snow shower, or head towards Old Winchester/Butser Hills. ;)
