I always help when help is needed... just not when people are too lazy to figure basic things out for themselves. Can't see that changing any time soon either. :)

my point is, if you're gonna bother to type a reply why not a helpful one? if not don't worry... if you think its a lazy qestion or whatever no one forces you to reply... just leave it, i asked a question as my first google page i went to started with "after the death of......." so it was just as simple to ask on here where it seems lots of fans of the books are posting... FFS!

If everyone only typed helpful replies from cloud care bear land that everyone wanted to hear in response to their question. then the forum would be an incredibly dull place. I reply to it because I want to, for the reasons I stated above. Deal with it! :p

Well been using this forum on and off since 2001, and it works better without smart arse comments

And yet every Monday morning, some still ignore it. Doesn't matter if its GoT, SGU etc - same thing always happens. On a side note, did someone mention the idea of splitting this topic into TV/Book? I have noticed on a GoT forum, they have e.g. spoilers (book/tv) and non spoilers discussion or just two spoiler threads split between book/TV as the show will be always playing catch up.

If you notice someone 'ignoring' the rules, feel free to RTM it and we'll deal with it if we feel they're crossing the line :)

On topic...now Ned isn't 'with us' I really lost a ton of interest :/

Then in all fairness you can't really be that into the show. Ned dies in the book too, and the rest of the cast are doing as good a job as, if not better in some places, than Sean Bean. It's a grand sweeping story about the fate of kingdoms, not the beheading of one man. :p

I'd agree with that.

I do like the overall story, but a lot of the characters do.... bug me.

I'm not saying I'll stop watching, obviously I'll keep going, but I was pretty annoyed my fav character until that point fell over.

I'll admit though, unlike many of you I've not read the books. :p
