Yes.

I've only just finished watching all 10 episodes and loved it all. Really looking forward to season 2 and the existing books are now on my Xmas list.

And Dinklage is brilliant!

Having not read the books I really didn't expect what happened at the end of 9 start of 10. TV shows just don't do that usually lol.
 
Looking at the casting, it appears to me they are bringing some of Book 3 storylines into season 2...I hope they don't horribly compress the story too much.
 
Going on Sat to see some of the set they have made up in Banbridge here. One of my mates is working on the set as a driver, ferrying stunt people and actors/actresses back and forth from hotels etc. Looking forward to it!
 
Finished watching this at the weekend. I don't usually enjoy shows or films from this period but thought it was brilliant.

(Having not read the books) it almost feels like season 1 is a prelude to the actual series (but in a good way) and that the real fun will start in season 2. Can't wait. :)
 
So...i finally got around to watching this...wow!

Was blown away with the first season with the final episode setting things up so well for the second season that I just wish it was on now!.

Superb casting and high production values, really if anyone hasnt got around to watching this yet then like a lot others on here I would certainly recommend it.

Ditto...watched all 10 episodes over last 4 nights...outstanding TV!

Going to buy the 5 'Song of Ice and Fire' books by GRRM later today and get stuck into them!!!

Just finished the second book of part 3 and it is by far the best part so far, you won't believe the direction this series takes...that is all :D
 
Brilliant show with inspired casting. Peter Dinklage is 100% spot on perfect casting....as is the young actress playing Arya!

TBH tho I cant say any casting was bad. The series captured the books very well, and can not wait for the next series to start :)

I just made a terrible terrible mistake. I never realised book 3 had two parts (left a month between books) so moved onto A Feast for Crows after Part 1 of book 3.

Was slightly confused after getting two chapters in but thought it would back track an explain. I have now ruined book 3 part 2 :(

Absolutely gutted

I don't know whether to laugh or cry... on the one hand it's admittedly a little funny :D but on the other I am absolutely gutted for you that you have slightly spoiled the majesty of the second part of the third book. :(

Not the end of the world though, go back now and read it, you'll still enjoy it immensely. :)
