Jon's story seems to be diverging from the book quite a bit. Also looks like they have cut out some characters which is understandable but still![]()
Cool it guys or you're off on holiday.
...which would be an epic, if rather dark, note to end on.
How so? He's gone North past the wall with the Night's Watch and that seems to be in line with the book IIRC.
The whole bit with Craster and Jon isn't in the book. Also, I think it was only rumours in the book about what he did with his sons. Can't go into any more detail until I've seen next weeks episode but unless nothing meaningful happens with the cliffhanger then it will be a pretty big change from the book.
Anyone else a bit disappointed that old man Craster managed to sneak up on Jon? Doesn't say much about his ranger skillsI hope they don't make him a pansy who gets beaten up by that perv.
That doesn't happen in the book, so artistic license taken by the writers. I really wouldn't worry about it![]()
Anyone else worried that the writers are taking a little too much artistic license?
Well i just watched episode two, were we actually supposed to be able to see anything in the last scene? I mean i know directors seem to have a thing with low light shots lately but i say maybe a foot and part of a face. Who was it and what the hell was going on?
What point in the books is the tv series at? I want to read so I'm always behind the tv series but wasn't sure if a series equated to a book?
