Is Gregor also called Dog or is it Dog's brother? Did his brother die at the tourney? I forget lol.

I don't know why so many people get upset over these comments some people have made. As long as it's not in any way a spoiler I don't see the harm in it....Arent these suspensions just a tad harsh?

just an opinion :)

Piracy is not legal, hence talking about it against the rules of this forum, pretty simple.

Gregor is the called the mountain. His brother Sandor is called the Hound and dog by Joffrey. Both are alive, Sandor is Joffrey's bodyguard and a member of the Kingsguard whilst Gregor is with Tywin.

I know what you mean but seeing as no one has mentioned piracy, or linked to any place to get the episodes from it's a very grey area.

For example If i was to say "OMG just watched the episode and its amazing, download it here at www.blahblah.com then yes It would be classed as promoting piracy and would expect a ban or suspension. But for the odd comment that gives nothing away or infers where to get them from? nah I think its a little too harsh.

Like i said it's an opinion.

Aha, Serr Gregor the one that burned Hound, ok this makes sense now.

You can think all you want but you don't make or enforce the rules so suck it up big boy.

I can't wait for tonight's episode. Personally, I feel that Season Two hasn't quite found its stride yet, but I'm hoping that changes with tonight's episode. There are so many ends to tie up! We'll have to wait and see what happens this evening :D

Season 1 imo was made by the final two episodes. I think (hope) the same will be true of season 2.

Still could have done being at least 2 episodes longer as they had to miss out a lot of stuff but you can't have everything.

I'm not sure they would do that, just fire the new guy because the old one is free again.

Still, i remember seeing something recently where the other guy said it wasn't anything to do with schedule clashes, they just wanted a better actor

Which is ridiculous.
The mountains role in s1 was to look menacing and kill a horse and lots of other guys, then fight his brother.
His role for s2 isn't much more taxing, he has spoken about 3 lines to date, none of which really mattered, and better than that when they had optiosn to have him speak at Tywins council they chose NOT to, and in additional Tywin made a point to Arya that he is crappy company.

So unless he has lots to say in tonights episode and next weeks, then I will be utterly bewildered as to their need for a 'better' actor who is half the size of the mountain.

As I already stated:
Westeros I am dissapoint.

Thank God they got it right at the other end of the scale, The smallest actor is their very very best, absolutely perfect for the role.

Posting that they've seen it and it was good or bad does not bother me and is NOT grounds for a suspension, it's pathetic.

However spoiling it for others should damn well merit a suspension!

Kinda cherry picking aspects of the alleged issue and making it appear what it is not TBH.

The issue is that, every week like clockwork, you would get a page or 2 of

"great episode"
"its not been aired yet"
"yeah but if you know then ;)"
"damn pirate"

ad infinitum. It gets bloody boring after a while. Couple this with the fact that people have been warned about doing what I said above but STILL post that they have seen it could be read as being disrespectful to the stated rules of the thread. It goes past the initial BS and turns into a 2-fingers to the mods/admins.

no one to blame for the suspensions but themselves.

Really?

I'm not disputing the rules here but why make an assumption that everyone who comments on the episodes of Game of Thrones before they air in the UK is a "pirate"?

Not everyone visiting these forums lives in the UK, the last episode had aired almost 12h ago. Plus there are countless other shows that don't get to be shown in the UK and yet are being discussed in numbers.

As long as they don't spoil anything (like some of the regulars here who like to do it every now and then), what's the problem?

Yes good point well made and frankly totally offtopic.

Lets discuss the show!

Now, does anything think we're going to see Tywin forces attack Rob tonight, they were certainly riding that way last evening.
Wonder will Jamie make it back to Kingslanding?

The rules for ages have been no discussing a show which hasn't been aired in the UK, people continuing to ignore that, even after a warning by a mod deserve a sus' really, they've brought it upon themselves

Not long now, can't wait

In other threads it seems different though, since the UK isn't exactly the prime place for TV, I mean we can be a season behind on things etc.

This is the one episode GRRM is directing/getting involved in the most. He directs one episode per series..and my friend who has read the books has told me to look forward to tonight.

Not that long now :)
