Back up plan is Zubimendi, whoever that is

He's a very good player, sociedad have produced a few in that roll. They produced illaramendi who was snapped up by Madrid a fee years back, was a great midfielder but the competition at RM was ridiculous.

Zubamendi holds their midfield together Infront of the back 4 and can lay the ball off well.

Looks like Gordon is all but done to Newcastle £45 mill.

Bit pricy but hey it's the January window all transfers carry a premium.

He will provide much needs help across the front 3

He's 21.

His XG, touches in the box and pressing stats and final 3rd tackles are excellent to very good playing for a team that is extremely poor atm.

Plus Eddie Howe got a magic wand :p

Wouldn’t have been my first choice but it’d be foolish not trust in Howe and co.

Not seeing the attitude issues either. Probably wants to get away from the self entitled fanbase that abused and blocked him from going home the other night.

Matches our workrate and poohousery, too. Decent squad player.

So whats his excuse for throwing a wobbler for 6 months because he didn't get a move to Chelsea?

more likely **** coaching from the fat Tory
He had the sulk on over Chelsea, I'm just gutted he didn't go then for the 60 million. Typical Everton that.

In all honesty I suspect he will play well for Newcastle, quality players, good manager, morale at the club is high, and they're in contention for a CL place.
