Winter Transfer window 24/25

The more you understand about Rashford, the less his actions make sense. If he's interested in playing at a high level and to be picked by England, then why is he acting the way he has for the so long? No one is touching a player in his form, on his wages and with his attitude.

Christ I didn't even realise he had gone there. Completely forgot about him.

I would say Rashford is a little different though as he is already getting paid silly money to mope around in the PL. Toney was probably on chump change in comparison.

Hes like so many people. They have a narrative on their own life and behaviour that is completely at odds with their actions and who they actually are. Think the parents who borderline neglect their kids but will tell you their kids are their world. People who say they have no time but sit in front of the TV for 4 hours a night. People lie to themselves and convincingly.

Just going to say this is an excellent view on the situation and one we could all bear in mind when sense checking our own circumstances and perspectives. It's difficult in really tough moments however it's such a valuable skill to step back.

I do feel for him, young (everything/moment seems so important at that age) and with lots of people, close to him and afar, with a say on his choices and what he could do. Us included. He's ended up in a pickle of a **** sandwich at this point, he could absolutely row himself back out of though if he could see it (Amorim has said as such)

Would have been happy about this at the start to the season but such bad timing now :/ Dubs distribution since coming in for the injured Pope has been fantastic and providing that extra player available for a pass. Pope has actually got worse in that regard :/

Wonder if we go and try and get Trafford now.

 
AC Milan are interested in Rashford on loan, but wages will be a problem (surprise). I think that's the sort of move that would be a good fit, potentially...
 
I think Rashford should only be allowed to leave on loan if there is an obligation to buy. I think there is a very real risk that a loan could completely kill his value and what little appeal he still has.
 
Bournemouth have signed a 19 year old left back from Argentina, goes by the name of Julio Soler, wonder if that will have a knock on effect with Kerkez..
 
Diego Leon heading to Manchester for his medical it seems.

On another note, Pep Guardiola confirms Kyle Walker has requested to leave the club. Another pro on his last legs looking to make a big payday from a Saudi club before he retires.
 
Looks like man city are getting Marmoush, just what they need another attacking wide player :rolleyes:

He mostly plays up front in the middle as a number 9 doesnt he? Thats where he has always been when I've seen him playing (though that in itself begs the question of why bother when you have Haaland there), tbh he would have been ideal for us instead of Nunez but doesnt seem like we showed much interest
