Witcher 3

Patch 1.03 has just dropped on PS4.. not sure about XB1. Quite a few fixes, including performance.

Any more word on this patch, has it fixed the small text issues and fixed what felt like input lag on the controllers? how big was the patch?

This gives all the info... http://gearnuke.com/witcher-3-patch-1-03-live-ps4-download-size-revealed/ ... (Edit) ah, well done Khrest

I'm not seeing any better performance, in-game or during cut-scenes. well, if there is its not noticable; the game is still choppy at times. I love it though, and its my best game since HL2 and Skyrim by a huge margin, and I've sunk 400+ hours into Skyrim

Played PC version with patch 1.4 and now ps4 version patch 1.3 , both versions suffer camera stutter but both during cut scenes run fantastic IMO, and I think both look great..

PC version with hair works obviously looks better. But happy to play either. And its a bloody good RPG game which is erm a bonus ...

So finished everything in the starting and moved out but only level 3 (just under level 4) everything i come across now is level 7. I must have missed something right? Slowly getting used to the combat but always end up doing the cha cha slide when i dive in water haha.

Hmmm, so I have the game as a freebe but am trying to sell it. I do love rpg, and open world stuff, but never got in to Skyrim enough, no idea why. I couldnt get in to TES Oblivion either.
I never played the Witcher 1, and got a little way in to the Witcher 2 but couldnt get past some enemies and stopped playing.
Now flipping a coin on weather to keep trying to sell this or actually give it a play!

Why not just play it and then sell it if you don't like it? Seems like a no brainer to me. It's hardly going to drop in value much in the week you'll need to see if you like it.

I was level 4 when I went to Velen and I had the same feeling. I'd suggest advancing the main story a little bit as you'll level up much quicker, then when you're about level 6-8 you'll find it a lot easier. I managed to rank up from around level 7 to level 15 really quickly just by doing some of the main quest, now I'm focussing on the side stuff again.

Oh wow, I was SO sure I'd made the wrong decision by killing the tree as the Crones were so horrible. I almost went back and reloaded an old save to change my mind, but then realised that's silly and I should go with whatever my instinct was at the time. Glad I didn't now :)

I did exactly the same as you, Squirrel! Quite happy with my choice now :D

When there is a character update - Is there a way to see the little yellow update star in the Glossary on all of them before scrolling, as when I scroll down, i'm highlighting them but I cant see which ones have a yellow asterix that are below the display, they auto highlight and disappear so I lose which ones have had the updates! - Just a minor annoyance :p

Confused how some people managed to get to level 7 just from White Orchard! I went back there last night as a level 4 and I had done everything...

I got up to level 3 without doing many quests, by the time I'd finished the quests I was level 5 and just about to tick over into 6.

Been away with work for a couple of weeks, have now bought a copy of this online today, not sure why as I am still finishing off the Chalice dungeons in Bloodborne but can't resist.
