Witcher 3

i.e. the souls approach :p

From what Ive seen of the W3 combat it seems hard not to trade blows when it comes to combat - crap players?

ps3ud0
combats fairly easy as long as your taking on enemies with a similar skill level and as long as your dodging and parrying and using magic ;) I've seen some stress where ppl were just awful at the combat making the game look harder than it is :D

tried playing this game twice now and its crashed both times whilst i have passed while playing the card game  anyone else on ps4 had this happen

Apart from my loading issue first thing, its been rock solid playing all day. I've only noticed a few minor glitches, mostly in the cut scenes. Any performance issues have also been in the cut scenes, with the game feeling as smooth as 30fps ever does.

I've reached the hanging tree, in the first main area after the prologue/White Orchard, and I'm pretty impressed so far. The graphics are nice, if not mind blowing... I'm certainly less in awe than I was with Skyrim, but I feel more involved with the gameplay so far, which is the main thing. Had to take a break to pick up the wife and kids, but I'm dying to dive back in to Witcher world.

BTW a lady a Tesco said they had people queuing for the game... not sure if that was at midnight. I was surprised as this is a small town.

Picked this up on the way home today I'm enjoying it too so far only just got into the main game though, the world is absolutely huge !!

Also picked this up on way home. Although I don't have a manual in mine :(( is the manual a thick book that you can read on the bog or are we talking a couple of pages?

The manual is the larger format pamphlet between the slipcase and the plastic disk case. It only explains the HUD and control layout, nothing more.

Its a great package overall... the soundtrack CD is very welcome, and the music is wonderful. Nice map too :)

Edit: beaten :D

Blah.
Trying to download digitally on xbox one..
I can download at 15MB/s (150mb internet).. yet it's been about 20 mins and has done 2% -.-

Nope definitely not there. Just the single page cover within the plastic on the outside. It was sealed wrapped too. Strange.

Although its not worth worrying about for its content, for completest sake, and for a future trade-in or selling it I would take that copy back personally.

Regarding the game.. I was slightly disappointed that for an 'open world' game there are several segments that you can't travel between. So I can't ride from White Orchard to the main area (whatever that is called) So, its more like DA:I rather than Skyrim... though you had to load into towns and buildings with that.

Loving this so far
just killed the Griffin and collected my reward
I can see this is going to have hours of gameplay just like skyrim did.

This game is incredible! The Audio is also spot on the accuracy is the best I've heard. Couldn't decide which console to get it on but went with the Xbone version.

At the start, came out of the pub and faced with 3 guys who started on me....I punched them and now the villagers won't speak to me to give me info!

Also, I am so confused with the controls, how do I bring out the main map and how do change/assign items to the vitality (up/down) buttons?

****, Gwent game crashed the game when I passed.

Hope they sort that out quickly, it's a fun little mini game.

Game is superb though!
