Witcher 3

So, played this a bit more now and really enjoying it. Apart from the combat that is, having to keep jumping into a menu to change the spell is wearing a little thin already.

So if I do Left Trigger + Left Button I get a different way of selecting than Left Button? Forgot i'd asked so haven't tried it out yet.

Finished off everything in the first zone now, bloody hell the second one is massive! Well into this now, well worth the money so far.

Off the top of my head it may be L2 and Square on PS4, so XB1 would be LT and B.

L1 will bring up a little menu wheel which I always use.

Really enjoying the game i'm up to level 18 which witcher set do you guys recommend? I am currently using feline

I have never played a game from this series but it looks somewhat like Dragon Age to me (but without the dragons). How does it compare? I'm really enjoying Inquisition so if it's anything like that - big, beautiful maps, collectibles, etc. I want in.

Play it now its a epic game! it has the big beautiful maps which are worth exploring, the best side quests i have seen in any RPG.

edit: The story and the characters are great, you have many options to take that effect the one of 36 endings.

My GOTY last year.

If you're talking about Inquisition then this is like a better version of that game. I loved Dragon Age Inquisition but this knocked the spots off it.

Absolutely agree, I enjoyed Inquisition until I outlevelled everything and the gameplay changed into 'well the tank won't die so eventually I'll win', but this game is on a different level. It really is staggeringly good, I've completed it twice now, and it's arguably my favourite game ever.

Crikey. Well, you've sold it to me. I'll just wait for The Enhanced Edition to come out and then I'll get it.

Just put up with the difficulty of the combat for the first few levels, it took me a while to adjust from going in all guns blazing, to having to dodge and block (even on a lower difficulty setting).

Having a lot of fun with this at the moment, really great game. One thing I don't like is it has the same problem as the first 2 games, in that the potions and oils are too complicated. They have all these ingredients and I have no idea where to find some of them, and there is no "herb map" which tells you were to look. Also, I don't see a way to view the alcohol bottle in the middle, I can only view the ingredients. I have bag full of plants and monster parts but I can hardly make anything out of them, so it seems pointless.
