With no dates for DLSS or Ray-Tracing enabled games, is being worried more than a conspiracy theory?

I don't think nvidia should have not shipped the tech, just because there are no games for it yet. DLSS sounds great. Early days for ray-tracing obviously but it has to start somewhere.

That's okay, you're doubling down on your lie. It's pretty simply, you said it did not work without a patch, that is a lie, it didn't work great and crashed for some people. It was patched to accommodate the Nvidia driver, the game worked just fine before the patch for AMD users and Nvidia users were actively playing the game before the patch. Stating it did not work and only crashed for all Nvidia users before the patch is a straight up lie, nothing more or less.

Though by your standard of a game crashing for anyone on launch means the game didn't work at all before a patch, then the Witcher 3 didn't work for Nvidia users till like the 5th or 6th driver about 2 weeks after launch?
Wow, calling me a liar now, even though it is plain to see and pretty simple to understand and even the statement from NVidia said it required a patch as well as drivers. The Witcher 3 ran sweet as a nut for me from the off but don't take my word for it, go with what you like.

Your not liar Greg, I remember well that Nvidia users were having crashing issues with TR 2013 on release. Sure users could play it but it was far from stable.

Witcher 3 also ran fine for me on my 780 Sli setup on release, it ran that well it wasn't until I read on the forums that there was a driver bug hindering performance.

Regarding direct x 12 cpu offloading, I know how it works but if you were running a game that's optimized for 6 core or more processors, a 4 core proc is going to struggle, more so if more instructions are being offloaded to it.

We never had these issues with the Amiga days. Atari users with their 8 channel sound was all we had to put up with :D :D

However, the Commodore bankruptcy, Escom, Amiga Technologies and Amiga Inc. saga puts all this current stuff in the shade - they even made a few films about it!

Even the way Commodore stole the Amiga from under Ataris nose is worthy of an epic thread.

Witcher 3 lost a LOT of performance with gimpworks turned on. Ironically it ran better on AMD cards after a few driver updates :p
