Please see below some facts of the day

No such thing as the gender pay gap (in the context of women being paid less than a man for the same work)

There are only two genders (male and female)

Woke nonsense from the radical left is one of the biggest threats to equality. The Dutch have started putting quotas on male/female in board positions. What do quotas lead to? Inequality. But we must overcompensate for inequalities in the past..

Not for the first time i find myself asking this question.

Do you know what "being woke" means?

I assume you arent a feminist either.

Ah the old "You don't like Antifa? You must be pro fascism argument."

Here is a poll showing fewer than 1 in 5 women consider themselves feminists. It has nothing to do with equality of the sexes, which we already have under the law.

Feminists are to busy fighting with LGBTists over who is the biggest victim. Men who put on a wig and call themselves women is kinda ruining the whole feminist thing.

Whereas in other non woke countries

According to a 2011 poll of experts by the Thomson Reuters Foundation Poll, Pakistan is the third most dangerous country for women in the world. It cited the more than 1,000 women and girls murdered in "honor killings" every year and reported that 90 percent of Pakistani women suffer from domestic violence.

At least here we can have fair trials if someone thinks they are being discriminated against.

@VincentHanna Reports, not incidents :)

I've noticed that the police are now recording "hate incidents" based not on actual crimes being committed but simply because the 'victim' has been offended by something someone else has said or done!

"What is a Hate Incident?
A hate incident is any non-crime incident which is perceived by the victim or any other person to be motivated by hostility or prejudice based on a person's disability, race, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity or perceived disability, race, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity."

So you dont agree with equality for women then?

As others have said I, like most people I suspect, fully support "equality"for women, Non-white ethnicities, etc.

What I don't agree with is people being given opportunities, jobs, promotions, party rises, etc on the basis of "anti-discrimination quotas".

Whilst I get the stat padding and the 'seen to be doing something' excuses for exceptionally wide-scope legislation, I think there probably is some value in collecting that data, however I see no reason why some quango can't deal with it.

Yeah

And The Democratic People's Republic of Korea is really a democracy...

You do realise that they have elections too, only a few posts back you were simping for Cuba FFS! :D

So you dont agree with equality for women then?

You don't seem to grasp that you can be pro-equality without choosing to label yourself as a feminist - say you have a positon for equality of the sexes based on not just advocacy for women but advocacy for both sexes...

Some feminists but not all will apparently do that, though definitions of feminism tend to be conditional on equality via advocacy for women in particular.
