Was hoping for stock to arrive Monday, but looks like it will only be dispatched to us Mon/Tues![]()
And I naively thought you were sitting there testing one with a stack of new ones all around you![]()

With the distribution probs with these, I'm sure everyone would like to know if you are still expecting stock tomorrow?
Limited means if you place a pre order now it's unlikely OcUK will ship you one tommorow. They will be filling all the back orders...
Show me a single case where a Core 2 chip has been fried by too much voltage or heat.

There's a lot more that degrade. Higher voltage doesn't bother me for benches, I try to use a voltage less than the maximum VCC recommended by Intel for 24/7. Personally I had a E6600 that lost 150MHz or so over a year up near 1.6v.
Prob not Intel, I hazzard a guess its supplier and the large demand and UK is last as always.
I would be happy to pump 1.5v into these CPU's (possibly 1.55v) until, I read otherwise, obv with Very Good Air Cooling.
