Impressive yes, but from a SuperPi perspective, which I gather tells us only a small part of the story. As people have said earlier, our understanding of how performant these chips really are will be much improved once we see some decent benchies. Cue Anandtech, Bit-Tech or Tom's benchtest... hopefully coming soon.

I can't see someone buying an E6750 over the E8400.

As if he is going to truthfully answer that. Look's like OCUK got shafted with the 8400 stock. Other places have them in stock now. Well and truly brassed off with nobody having 8500's though.
