Yeah Pappa's still going, players on there most nights. Server will run as long as Pappa and the regs keep paying for it, so if u ever fancy abit of trip down memory lane come and join us

I might just do that. Will give you a few extra kills at least. Probably a lot more kills if my performance in ET is anything to go by. And that's with only a few months without playing.

Hey all can't believe that I'm scanning through OCUK and I see my name mentioned... haha not been on here for ages. I've not played ET for ages neither, can't believe that there is nothing out there that surpasses it?? I always loved it cause it had that feel of acctually being in a massive war even though there was only 20 players on the map. That is a hard feeling to get.

Last time I went on there were loads of dodgy maps and mods going on, if only we could return to how it was in its prime..

Also waiting on getting a new PC so I'm out of online gaming on the PC till then. Mind you getting a PS3 today so that should pass the time

I really dont understand why ppl complain when they join a server and it has mods, i find the mods on the server that the clan im in, make the game more fun and by our regular player base so do most ppl. We run the jaymod which is pretty neat, allows for the knives to be throwing, lots of fun, the playdead cmd again lots of fun pretending to be dead letting the enemy run past only to jump up and kill them all with poisned throwing knives

ET is an absolute classic. To answer your question the only game that I've played since then that has been so much fun is TF2.

I tried playing ET again not so long ago and as others have said it was non-standard maps etc.

ET is definitely my favourite game of all time. I am an admin at |ABC| and we run a jaymod server. Throwing knives, do add a lot of fun. I just wish they could get rid of the panzers and the nOObs that use them but hey ho.

yeah it will be empty now....

i would be on later but i have to go out for dinner with in laws... nightmare..

might be on tomorrow night though.... always use xfire when i play.

Had a few of your guys on our server chui, killbot, we limit all heavy weapons so only 1 person can use them per team, which can be a bit annoying of some idoit takes the flamer and doesnt even defend the controls in Supply Depot :mad:

Would this be open to relatively newcomers? I've not played ET for well over a year but would love the chance to get back into it.

What's the map rotation? Don't suppose Temple, Caen and Venice are included?

its just standard maps atm... although i think venice is a great map, used to love temple as well!!

its up to binks though, its his server!
