Wolfenstien 2 Vulkan benchmarks:

I am not talking about this one game though, FuryX has been horrible throughout this year, in most 2017 games it has been massively behind the 980Ti, and even behind the 580, and 1060. Forza 7, Shadow Of War, Warhammer 2, The Evil Within 2, COD WW2, Wolfenstein 2, Assassin's Creed Origins, Project Cars 2, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Mass Effect Andromeda, Forza Horizon 3، Ark Survival, Conan Exiles and so on. It's a combination of bad Tessellation performance, low VRAM and lack of proper optimizations.

Big deal the 10 series is older now (May 2016), Volta will be here and Vega will be even further behind and for now a 1080Ti beats it.

Honestly some peeps are delusional.

Well the 290x was behind Kepler 780ti and Maxwell gtx980 but it's not any more. I don't see Vega as good as that card but lets wait and see when developers start using all the features of DX12/Vulkan. Any how AMD won't be sitting still either and lets hope they hit the ground running with there next release.

I do not care for older cards TBH and it needs to be fast on launch for me and nowadays I skip every few releases so do not buy every new card.

Fury X is not to far behind a 1070 these days. At release it was way slower than the 980ti.

Bah. Cherry picking. Plenty of games where the Fury X is at 1070 or above.

Its your thread...

So I take from this thread even though the game is a bug fest at launch its faster on a Nvidia GPU for now. :)

Me too, Muhammad's link about Forza Horizon 3 only shows what he claims at an image setting where all 4gb cards are hobbled. I can't work up the enthusiasm to go through the rest of the foreign language obscure games tests.

Not sure you've thought things over very well.

Anyway. How is Nvidia performance in the cut scenes getting on?

Competed the game and all side missions and uninstalled, and going by your ridiculous comments in various threads your input matter little TBH, so take a leaf out your own book and engage your brain before you type.

That was 2nd part to your post...

The cut scenes are at a lower FPS as most will be as some games they are 30FPS but then again I have a "cheap PCB" and "cheap memory" on my card, so I am told.

You skip two or three gens but don't care how a card holds up over that time.

Anyway. I was joking with the cut scene comments. I was asking how the driver battle was getting on.

I went from Titan XM to 1080Ti, mainly to save losing any more money on resale of it once Volta hit, the 1080Ti blows it away and will be worth more later on.

I could have been mad and bought a Titan XP or even madder a Titan Xp but the cost here for the latter was £1200 over $900-1000 in US which is a rip off IMO.

So I am counting the 1070-1080 as a skip for me as a 1070 is about same as my Titan XM.

I had no issue at launch with the game till I tried to change certain settings like many on both teams.

The patches and driver did more damage than good for many users again on both teams.

I simply played it and I will forget it as not a patch on the first two games
