Wondering How To Get A Job As A Gaming Scientist? Ask Richard Huddy from AMD!

So they've chopped this into pieces...when do we get the rest of the videos or are they going to milk it for hits over the weeks?

He came across well in this interview I thought.

Shame it was a complete and utter let down, 8 minutes of what a gaming scientist is and how to become one, was expecting something 30+ mins long and some of the more technical questions to be answered rather then 'maybe we can do this again with other questions'.

Also, it took them over a week to edit an 8 minute video? :p

So in the end here we are on the 23rd, with an ~8min video and "hopefully" more coming some time next week...

There was over one hours footage in total prior to editing. It has been broken down into segments covering certain areas. Don't worry, you'll get to see it all Alatar.

Have to say it was better than I expected, I look forward to the next video. I think the name for his role is a bit cheesy though.

AMD’s Huddy takes questions on Mantle from the OcUK Forum

Here is part two folks, this time Huddy is talking about Mantle.

One of the largest and most technical forums in the world, the Overclockers.co.uk crew are never short of questions. When they had the chance to grill AMD’s Chief Gaming Scientist, they took to the task of grilling him with relish.
In this video, Huddy takes to the hot seat to answer some direct questions about a slimmer API and what will happen to it when DX12 arrives.
