Uc is more than enough to live on if you budget. Why would I want more? I have everything I want.I find it unlikely that someone on a benefit like UC would bin off £650 because they didn’t need it. Not unless they’re on a dodgy claim and are hiding cash somewhere.
Troll confirmed. The payment will start from 14th July.Uc is more than enough to live on if you budget. Why would I want more? I have everything I want.
Except maybe a ps5. But the games all look pretty crap and there is supply issues.
This gets my vote: https://www.guidedogs.org.ukI dont need it to live on because I can budget. How can I return it to the needy? I disagree with organised charites because of high administration costs.
i might get one of these payments soon not sure, i have congestive heart failure, autism lately diagnosed in my late 30's and the other stuff that goes with that and gout etc
if i got one of they payments it would be very helpful and they dont start till tommorrow..... so trolling is confirmed.
- More than eight million households on benefits will receive a payment of up to £650 this year, made in two instalments. This includes all households entitled to a payment of the following benefits: Universal Credit, Income-based Jobseekers Allowance, Income-related Employment and Support Allowance, Income Support, Working Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit and Pension Credit.
- The DWP will make the payment in two lump sums – the first from July 2022, the second from the Autumn. Payments from HMRC for those on tax credits only will follow shortly after each to avoid duplicate payments.
- To be eligible for the first instalment, families must have been entitled to a payment (or later found to be entitled to a payment) of either:
- Universal Credit for an assessment period that ended in the period 26 April 2022 to 25 May 2022
- income-based JSA, income-related ESA, Income Support or Pension Credit for any day in the period 26 April 2022 to 25 May 2022
- Tax credit customers, who will receive the first instalment later in the year, must have received a payment, or an annual award of at least £26, of tax credits for any day in the period 26 April 2022 to 25 May 2022.
