Woo. Free £326 !

I don't think I will be entitled to that as I am a baby Boomer and I have millions.
According to a well known Forum.

I'd much rather they held off any payments like this until the winter. If people are unable to budget, that money isn't going to be around in 6 months time when energy bills really hit.

i might get one of these payments soon not sure, i have congestive heart failure, autism lately diagnosed in my late 30's and the other stuff that goes with that and gout etc

if i got one of they payments it would be very helpful and they dont start till tommorrow..... so trolling is confirmed.
You are eating to many Peasants.

Buy a less toxic personality and maybe some happiness? However i fear you won't be able to buy those in large enough volumes for what you need

I can’t work out if I’m eligible or not.

I get new style ESA, and it says people on that benefit don’t get it. Thing is, my esa is topped up with universal credit, so I have an active claim for both. Really confused as to whether the new style esa will stop me getting it, or I’ll get because I do I have an active UC claim from last spring.

I assume you'll get it purely through being on UC.

I think it depends on if your benefits are income related or contribution based

More benefits for people already on benefits judging by the eligibility criteria. But for the grace of god and all that, hope it helps them all even a little.

Assuming most people are sensible, they should make an additional payment to their energy provider of £326 once they get the money. I can't help but feel the energy firms will be laughing all the way to the bank, as peoples balances are in (or should be after paying) a decent amount of credit.
