Why would anyone mind an extra hour added to the weekend and possibly time spent in bed, doing bedly type things? I hate it in the spring when we lose the hour.

There is nothing good about November, and the clock change is the harbinger gloom.
3-4 months of damp, dark, cold weather.
The best you can hope for is a few days where sun pokes through the gloom!
November is the very worst month of the year!
The biggest annoyance is that if it isn't a weekend you can't now do anything in the evenings as its dark after work.
So you have to have decent weather on 2 of 7 days a week.
Sure you can (and I do) go out in non sunny weather.. But it isn't nice.
