Woolwich serious incident

I'm hoping the muslims will come out and protest to show their disrespect of these terrorists today.

RIP to the Army guy.

The Muslim Council of Britain issued a statement yesterday;

MCB said:
The Muslim Council of Britain this evening spoke out, in the strongest possible terms, the news of a horrific murder that has taken place in Woolwich, London. Eye-witnesses suggest that the murderers made Islamic slogans during their heinous action and were thus motivated by their Islamic faith.

This is a truly barbaric act that has no basis in Islam and we condemn this unreservedly. Our thoughts are with the victim and his family. We understand the victim is a serving member of the Armed Forces. Muslims have long served in this country’s Armed Forces, proudly and with honour. This attack on a member of the Armed Forces is dishonourable, and no cause justifies this murder.

This action will no doubt heighten tensions on the streets of the United Kingdom. We call on all our communities, Muslim and non-Muslim, to come together in solidarity to ensure the forces of hatred do not prevail. It is important we allow our police authorities to do their job without speculation. We also urge the utmost vigilance and ask the police authorities to calm tensions.

Britain does not look like the United States, but when they were attacked we joined in.

I would counter and say people like you are part of the problem thinking our cause is just and noble whilst when the opposition does the same it’s disgusting and horrendous.

This man was a serving soldier who had seen action (the attackers stated and knew this), it’s no different to the killings of Afghans whilst in non-combative situations, which happens all the time. If one is just, so is the other.

What a stupid and moronic post.

WRONG

They ran him over FIRST and then ASKED him if he was a solider

That's it? I think the muslims are scared of saying\doing anything just in case they are next.

But I've noted the statement and if any muslims get attacked(which I hope they don't" I will make the same statement.

What do you want from them? This is more than enough considering that in the real world they don't actually bare any responsibility towards the attackers and their actions at all.

Why aren't you getting your closest white neighbor to apologise for the things that Jimmy Saville did?

Oh god, this thread has gotten even worse.

I would feel much better about myself if all of the extremists on both sides were locked up. Including several members of this thread. Trying to justify your irrational hate is amusingly pathetic.

And what exactly can they do?
99.99999% of the Worlds Muslims want peace like everybody else and read from a good part of the Koran.
What powers do they have to stop idiots?

Well apparently sharing something means they're responsible.

So the next time someone who plays guitar does something illegal, you best be ready with your public apology, as you will be responsible for their actions.

Well this was a pleasant read for first thing in the morning tbh I expected it to be worse than it was (this thread that is).

I doubt I need to remind any of you that some of our customers and forums users may believe in the religion you are talking about and not all of them are murderers and terrorists many of them are just as peaceful as the other god following british citizens who frequent these forums.

AS for the actual situation it saddens me for several reasons I of course feel sorry for all families affected by this but also because they always win it lowers us to their level when we start with this fascistic talk about protecting our borders and castrating every immigrant. Thanks to social media providing a soap box for every person to stand on and shout a large proportion of our formally quiet and ignorant british population can't help themselves and have an un needy desire to declare war on any "brown person" irrelevant of their religion. Frankly it saddens me to be English today. For along time i've referred to myself as British and it seems more poignant today than ever to continue to do so.

AS for the EDL that's the generation that needs castrating sickening to that they think they represent me.

A lot of people in this thread could do well to wear one of those epilepsy helmets and adult nappies, because it really sounds like they're a danger to themselves without.

Don't be so definite, you have little idea on the sequence of events.

If they were just after indiscriminate slaughter they wouldn't have been casually stood around after just chatting to people. It seems they were specifically after someone from the military and you have no idea what if any recon they did first.

Chatting to an army friend last night who has been at that Barracks, I guess this guy would have stood out as an army man anyway tbh.

:D

I kind of feel sorry for them, they clearly can't form opinions of their own :(

I don't, I feel sorry for the people capable of criticial thinking who have to put up with them and listen to their sperging rants about things they just don't understand.

If there's one thing that I find extremely annoying, it's people ranting about subjects that they don't understand, due most of the time to limited mental capacity.

Fair point :)

It's so easy to pull apart their arguments, but then they call you a liberal left wing wimp or some such nonsense.

I think playing a guitar is a bit different then a persons head being chopped off in public.

I myself have shopped druggies and thieves to the police and was there at their trial. I'm not scared to do something.

It's time to ban all religion in the UK
