I see what you did therei got no letters on my first word and then the first two on my second guess but it still took me all five to get the answer. i bet someone clever has written some sort of automatic robot that solves these though.
Tricky one today but clicked on last attempt.
Been doing these the last few days, only had one that stumped me as it turned out to be an American spelling.

How many of you are just plucking a random word to start and how many are using a particular tactic, like starting with vowel heavy words?

Aren't vowels are less important to discover?
I find it easier to work out the vowels first. It implicitly rules out other letters because there's only certain letters/patterns which can exist around those vowels.
