Same. I had the last 3 letters in the right place on my 2nd guess but couldn't figure out the word. I went through all the possibilities of the letters I had left and must have read out the correct answer 2 or 3 times and each time decided "Nope, that's not a real word" because of the way I was reading it :(

Had to use my 3rd guess to narrow it down a bit more then it finally clicked.
Keeps my stats quite consistent though:

Got some luck with my first word today. I did have to think for a while, I knew the answer was simple but it wasn't coming to me :D

Especially considering (assuming the post I saw was the issue one) the user literally said "can I share that the words are going to be x y and z?" rather than "can I share the future words?"

And add to that, they weren't just the words, the user highlighted them, made them bold, capitalised.

That user (again assuming it's the post I saw) knew exactly what they were doing.

Only a game but what a nasty thing to do
 
I'd fully support a longer ban. Glad I didn't see it.
Probably come in and do same again.

I used the actual word for attempt 4 that I was going to use for attempt 3, 'cause I just figured it wasn't gonna be that word, silly me.
 
Took me 4 again today.

How does someone take pleasure out of spoiling something that "fellow" members are enjoying playing? Seems a bit perverse to me. I'm glad I missed it. I hope they don't plan on doing it again.
 
I was having a mental block, gf got it instantly when I showed her on 4th

Lol I'm meant to be the English speaker :p
