Failed. Just couldn't see/get it so gave up. That is all.

Was going to get my used words but today's efforts have disappeared from the browser (must be an addon I'm using)!

As others said, with that many letters eliminated, there are only so many words it could be!

I don’t understand why people get letters, even in the wrong place, then don’t use them at all in the next word. Completely takes away any chance of getting lucky with your word.

That assumes you can always think of a word that uses all the letters you have found so far.

If you can't immediately, then why not try another word that might use some but not all, to help identity more?

Because if there are loads of words it could be, you might be better off finding the letters needed first, than hoping your guess will be correct.

Yes, you might get it quicker with a lucky guess, but you could be unlucky and end up using all your tries and still not picking the correct variant of the word.
