The pass from Forlan to start it was pretty good and the cross/pass back into the box was decent but the finish was not quite up to the same standard.

Well done to Uruguay, a solid and professional performance. I thought South Africa were a little bit unlucky at times but they seemed to be lacking that bit of quality and experience that would allow them to properly compete. It can put a bit of a dampner on things if the host nation goes out early in the competition so I hope that doesn't happen, this World Cup needs all the footballing excitement it can get.
