i cant see him on the bench i see aguero - who isnt the finished article. if he is on the bench he must be kicking himself for what hes done to deserve being **** on for the likes of aguero and higuain who are half the player he is.
well hes similar to bent in that despite being on form he doesnt get many full games for the international team and doesnt perform too great when he does

have also seen maradonna call him lazy:p

Don't they already have to shout in normal noised games? This is much louder with the horns.

maybe I'm wrong but I can't even begin to imagine just how loud it must be.

the horns are powered by people blowing them, if they were air horns then they certainly would be extremely loud. they do make a lot of noise, but i doubt its enough to stop communication. whereas in the south africa game it was certainly a lot louder and enough to stop communication, because there was a lot more of them.

Argentina haven't got a chance imo, pretty crap at the back, 3 slow defenders + Jonas who is a terrible right back (why is he even playing there??) then up front they've got Higuain whose idea of finishing seems to be hitting it straight at the keeper, Tevez who just keeps losing the ball and Messi who was excellent on the ball but just didn't seem to do enough, could have had a hat trick tonight. Really disappointing, think they'll be rolled over by any of the good sides.

tevez has scored 9 in 53
milito 4 in 21

tevez also hasnt performed that well either yet gets played most games

Nothing special from Argentina there, they'll always look good going forward with the Strikers they have but Maradonna don't have a clue how to set them up or what the team should be.

When they run into a decent side setup properly they'll get found out.

Shoddy defending from the Argies...but attack wise they look potent with Messi making things happen. Should have had 3-4 goals the Argies and Messi should have had a couple as well.

Nigeria got a good goalkeeper...kept them in the game but they didnt look like they were going to win from what i was watching...had a few good chances but nothing.

Argies are going to regret not taking Zanetti and Cambiasso...Guiterrez looks next to useless in all honesty.

Still thats 3 pts so Argies wont complain too much.

Argentina just ripped them apart for 25 minutes but not long after the goal they went into that "oh, this is easy, lets slow it down and not tire ourselves out" mode. Which is just daft, they stopped trying, which killed their play, they started to just pass it around without trying to get forward and ultimately let Nigeria back into the game when they were just not in it when Argentina were actually playing.

THing is when the game starts to turn and you've had your burst of energy and slowed it down, its far far harder to get back into the game than if they just went ahead full steam. Had they continued as they started it would have been 4-0 by half time and the second half would have been easy as anything.

ARgentina, again if they can get the confidence back and play like the first 25 minutes for a whole game, have a great shot at the cup. Poor defence only costs you cups if you can't score 5 goals a game and Argentina, in that first 25 minutes, look fully capable of that.

Just utter lazyness let the game get away from them, but NIgeria weren't good enough , Uche, damn it, the second half he managed to get involved in almost every good/promising move and screwed them all up, he was woeful for the last 25 minutes, truly awful.

Argentina v S Korea teams:

Argentina: Sergio Romero, Martin Demichelis, Walter Samuel, Gabriel Heinze, Jonas Gutierrez, Javier Mascherano, Maxi Rodriguez, Angel Di Maria, Lionel Messi, Carlos Tevez, Gonzalo Higuain.

South Korea: Jung Sung-ryong, Oh Beom-seok, Lee Young-pyo, Cho Yong-hyung, Lee Jung-soo, Kim Jung-woo, Ki Sung-yong, Park Ji-sung, Lee Chung-yong, Park Chu-young, Yeom Ki-hun.

Referee: Frank De Bleeckere (Belgium)

Now this one should be good. First game tension out of the way for both, both teams have looked good as well so maybe this will be one of the more exciting games so far. Can't wait to see Messi and Di Maria playing, both really exciting players. I'm not writing the South Koreans off though, they are a good team and a match for most on their day.
